Thank you for giving Karivalis Painting Contractors the opportunity to work with you on your current project. Making the transformation of your home a smooth process is very important to us. In order to help keep you informed we ask that you make time to meet with the job estimator and foreman prior to your job start to walk through your job and make sure all details of your project are clear, and all your concerns are addressed. Once the work has been completed we would like to meet again to walk through the final result, get your feedback, and make sure no touch ups are needed. In the mean time to assist us in completing your project in a smooth manner, we ask that you complete the following prior to our arrival on the first day.
       Please have all color and sheen selections ready five days prior to job start. Feel free to visit any MAB, Finnaren & Haley, Sherwin Williams, or Benjamin Moore paint stores to find the proper color. If you need further assistance color consultations are available at an additional charge. Colors not selected five days prior to job start could result in a delay in your job start.
       For interior jobs all fragile items need to be removed and secured; TVs, computers, and other sensitive electronics need to be removed from the area that is being painted. All paintings and pictures should be removed from walls. Picture hooks removed from walls indicate to us that the holes are to be filled in. Picture hooks that are not removed from wall indicate that the pictures and paintings will be hung back in their original positions.
       For exterior jobs all windows should be closed on the day in which powerwashing will be completed; all vegetation covering areas to be painted need to be cut back and/or removed. Any fragile lawn or decorative exterior hanging ornaments need to be removed from work areas and areas to be painted.
       All color selections will be confirmed at your pre-job walk through. When planning your color schemes please keep in mind any dramatic color changes which may require additional coat for proper coverage and optimal results. We are happy to assist you with your color selections. Feel free to contact our office to discuss color consultation services.
